Fall and Holiday Season Updates

THANK YOU to all who came out for our first annual Fall Festival! We were so thrilled with the turnout and are grateful to be a part of such supportive community.

We had more than 65 entrants into the Pumpkin Decorating & Carving Contest. The creativity was off the charts and it was very difficult to choose winners. Here are the winners of the contest:

  • Happiest: Grace
  • Spookiest: Eve Cameron
  • Most Creative: Violet & Trice Cave
  • Classic: PC
  • Most Artistic: Faith Flynn

If you’re listed as a winner, please email us with your mailing address so we can mail you your prize. Feel free to email us with suggestions or thoughts on how to improve next year’s Fall Festival. We’re already looking forward to it!

Santa Paws Fest to Benefit Lucky Pup Rescue

We’re thrilled to once again partner with Lucky Pup Rescue and raise funds for this fantastic local organization.

This year will be a mix of virtual and in-person activities as we remain mindful of gathering indoors.

Check back shortly for more details but mark your calendars now!

Vinegar Hill is Committed to Safety

We appreciate your support and patience in adhering to our Covid-related changes and, to finish our 2021 season in a safe manner, are continuously adjusting our protocols based on CDC recommendations and our industry’s response. Effective September 1st, all guests of Vinegar Hill are required to provide proof of their Covid-19 vaccination, or a negative Covid-19 test result within a 48-hour period of their arrival date. Each must be accompanied by a matching photo ID. Children under the age of 12 are exempt but are required to wear masks.
The Maine CDC recommends that everyone in York County wear a mask in public indoor spaces. We are grateful to our guests for wearing masks at all times while in indoors, regardless of vaccination status. We have adjusted our bar service to be tableside, have upgraded our ventilation systems, and will keep doors open for air flow when we’re able to.
Our primary goal is to keep everyone safe and healthy, while we continue to gather and have fun. We firmly believe “the show must go on” and to do so, must make this difficult decision. We know this ask will be a hard one for some, and please accept our gratitude for doing your part. Please direct any questions around this update, or previously purchased tickets, via email to our Managing Director.
*Air conditioning system features newly installed HEPA filters. We will be employing a number of strategies designed to increase ventilation in accordance with CDC guidelines. We have  added air purifiers to restrooms and other highly trafficked areas of the property. Hand Sanitizer Stations are provided at all entrances, exits, concessions, and various marked areas in the barn.*

We have pledged ourselves to the KPT Promise, a campaign devised by our community business leaders in order to uphold the highest possible safety standards. We are also adhering to the guidance put forth by Keep Maine Healthy, as well as the Association for Performing Arts Professionals

We thank you for your cooperation in keeping our community healthy as we continue to gather together at Vinegar Hill.
Thank you again for your understanding and we hope to see you soon.
